Please check here if you plan to pursue both of these majors.

DECLARE OR CHANGE MINOR

Students may declare a minor field any time before beginning the final semester of study toward a Bachelor of Science.

When you have discovered a field in which you wish to undertake a minor, first consult the online description https://ucollege.wustl.edu/programs/undergraduate/minors. A minor consists of a minimum of 15 units, of which at least 9 units must be on the 300-level or above. Lay out a tentative plan for fitting those courses into your remaining semesters, along with your major requirements and any outstanding distribution requirements.

Course work taken as part of the minor may fulfill distribution requirements or major requirements. Overlap between a minor and a major is allowed as long as there are at least 9 unique units in the minor. Only courses receiving a grade of C- or higher will be applied to the minor. In order to be awarded the minor, students must earn a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 in all courses taken toward the minor. A maximum of 3 units of transfer credit may be applied to the minor.
